The Social Hub Glasgow

I love the buzz about this place and it's central location. Staff are super friendly, the vibe is A+

I enjoyed my stay at Social Hub. The location was perfect — it was nice to walk around, with a Tesco nearby, plenty of restaurants, and the city center within easy reach. The check-in was self-service, but the staff was available and helpful for anyone who experienced issues, which made the process smooth. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with a great design. I especially loved the co-working space and the variety of common areas — from table tennis and billiards to cozy lounges where you can just relax. Want to come back next time and bring my team to work from here together! The room was clean and comfortable, with nice touches like lotions and shower gel, branded water, and even good coffee in the room — which is rare. There’s also a restaurant and café at the hotel. We tried the breakfast buffet, which was nice overall, but there was an issue with the eggs. They only served scrambled eggs, and unfortunately, they were terrible — I’m not even sure they were real eggs. Next time, I would order breakfast from the menu instead. Apart from that, everything else was tasty and enjoyable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’ve already checked where else this chain is located so we can stay with them again on future trips :)

Breakfast and location very good except for 4am revellers . Would have liked a second chair in our room as we are in our eighties and sitting in the bed us no good for our backs/ but Jess your manager apparently rejected two separate requests from us. Also you could arrange a tie-up with Glasgow’s Tourist board and like most hotels have some leaflets on things to go to! You also have some wobbly tables in the breakfast room , some because they go across the floor lines! Also your drinks cups are too high for your machine , so when adding milk , the nozzle is stuck inside the cup and often overflows it. Also you seem reluctant to make teaspoons available , which funnily enough British people like to use to stir their tea and remove the teabag or squeeze the teabag, rather than use a dessert spoon. Do your customers steal all the teaspoons? Staff very friendly and helpful, but I get the feeling customer and staff suggestions are not welcome. Do it our way, and that is that? Is The Social hub owned by a Californian company, by any chance?

Location is amazing, 5 minute walk to the Barras! So close to everything else, it made such a difference being central. I’ve been to Glasgow so many times and stayed outside of town, it was always at least 30-40 minutes to get to wherever we were going that day but staying at The Social Hub meant we could get most places in 15-20minutes and often by walking to our destination. Linens were clean, room was clean, shower was good and hot. Didn’t really hear much from neighbouring units. It was great to have a chrome cast built into the TV and a plug on the bed frame. Nice amount of hooks around the room to hang things. I liked the coffee bags, normal instant coffee tastes like crap but they tasted like a decent cup of coffee! The wee kettle was cute and I enjoyed the water/tablet/shortbread. Decent mirror lighting for makeup

Absolutely incredible stay, easily a 10/10! We enjoyed it so much that we even chose to stay in the hotel voluntarily because it was just that good, like seriously. The Social Hub concept is perfect, and we would love to see more locations in Germany. In fact, there should be many more of these hotels worldwide. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the design, and the vibe. The games areas were fantastic, and the Butter Chicken Burger is highly recommended. Simply perfect in every way!
